Aaaah, the breakfast of champions! (or at least Grady's choice this morning) Grady loves his 'Cocoa Cops'. He cracks me up every time he asks for them. What? There is a fuzzy tail in the picture? Well for those of you with spectacular eye sight - yes that is one of our kitties tales in the picture. Grommet was stalking for some spilled milk. Can't blame him for trying!!

I tried to find something BLUE besides water and sky, which I thought would be very popular today. I chose the vase my brother and SIL gave me for Christmas. It was hand blown by an artisan in Hawaii and is definitely one of my favorites!

While I was originally going to do a picture of my feline fuzzies - who have perfected the word lazy - I decided to put a fun spin on it instead. Here you see MY laziness this week. I boycotted laundry this week and it is coming back to bite me in the butt! This is only Hubby's and my laundry - it doesn't even include the kids hampers!! Off to clean, fluff and fold!

photo hunt 128 - road

I was having a hard time deciding what to do for ROAD - I mean, won't they all look the same in some way or another? So I decided on posting some pics from my off road trip in the Dominican Republic jungle. This was our stylish Dune Buggie. I will say it had much to be desired in the shock absorbing department but it was fun to drive!

The first challenge was getting to the jungle. There was a quick rain storm that left the roads a little flooded.

They also don't have traffic patterns, center lines or any organized form of driving on roads. I was always worried we were going to run down one of the crazy motorbike riders. They would zip right in front of you without even looking.

Finally! The road less travelled. It was an amazing experience. We travelled 60 miles, which lasted all day, through various remote parts of the island. If you are ever down there I highly recommend it!!

I tried to be all creative with my picture, but due to one serious head cold, this was all I could come up with. Today is Drake's first football game of the season. These are the strings on his shoulder pads. He plays football, I play futbol..... sigh.

There is nothing like waking up at dawn above the clouds. These pictures were taken during my backpacking trip through the Sayanne Mountains in Siberia. It was a beautiful sight to behold and a much needed pick me up. I was feeling a little negative towards Mother Nature as I had suffered through endured a snow storm at the top of the mountain the day before. I think this view all but made up for the day before!

This week's theme is a picture of yourself. So here I am in Siberia!! No really, I am. This was about halfway through the trek up the mountain range. We stopped here to camp for the night. Not what you would expect to see in Siberia is it?
